Build me a simple open source smart home simulator that runs in Blender 2.7 or older, since it needs the old game engine. I want to be able to start a demo simulation from the command line, pick a context like morning, and then press play in Blender to run it.

The app should capture the interactions from the simulation and save them somewhere local, then let me combine multiple runs into one dataset for a chosen number of days, with a start date and a time margin setting. It should feel like a small research tool for generating smart home data, not a polished consumer app.

Please make it easy to run on Windows or Linux, include clear setup steps, and keep the default demo working out of the box with the sample smart home scene. If anything depends on older Blender behavior, make sure that is noted clearly and use current docs online if you need to verify how to make it work.
